You can’t receive anything from God by hope

Jul 26, 2023

I believe I’m going to get saved, that is to become a follower of Jesus Christ.

-VS-

I am saved.

What’s the difference?

The difference is hope vs. faith.

You can’t get saved by hope. Only faith.

See the difference? Do you get it?

- Hope is future tense.
- Faith is present tense.

In fact, you can’t receive anything from God by hope. It’s always according to your faith.

God is not moved into action by your need, only your faith.

Why does this matter?

Because whatever you need from God (salvation, healing, peace, wisdom, business strategy) comes by faith, not hope.

Start praying/believing/receiving by faith, not hope.

>> this is faith: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24 NIV)

>> or this: Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. (Hebrews 11:1 AMP)

Many of you are praying and not receiving because you’re praying prayers of hope, not faith.

So remember …

- Hope, well hopes.
- Faith receives. right now!

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation on this. Your life will change almost overnight!
