When God tells you — 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁?

Jun 14, 2022

Have you ever met someone who says God told them — 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁

- who claims to be led by the Holy Spirit
- but they seem to be led down paths that lead to nowhere

They claim to be led by the Holy Spirit, but they make bad decisions over and over.

They really give God a bad name.

Here's the thing, they are often MISLED by the spirit ... 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.

Satan often masquerades as the spirit of light. He can put thoughts in our head that seem like they are from the Holy Spirit, but they are not.

People are often MISLED by the spirit, just not the Holy Spirit.

What I've found is the very people who are easily misled, are most often not in the Bible.

There is a reason why God created the Bible. It's His infallible Word to us.

- we should read it
- we should follow it

Only 15% of Christians read it on a regular basis
Only 6% of Christians have a biblical worldview
Only 40% of Christian pastors believe it's the infallible Word of God

**Can you see the problem with that?

Satan is having a heyday with misinformation and fake news — right in the minds of believers who are easily misled.

Here's what we forfeit when we are not in the Word of God.

- you'll miss hearing God's voice
- you'll never develop a two-way relationship with God
- you'll never develop a strong faith
- you'll never understand God's plan and purpose for your life
- you'll never know the 6000 plus biblical promises for you
- you'll never develop wisdom, knowledge and understanding
- you'll never understand His love
- you'll never understand the times
- and the list goes on

The Bible is not a book of rules. It's a book of truth, daily instruction and promises for our life journey.

Read it. Often. Everyday.
