Make no mistake, God wants you to have the desires of your heart.
He wants to bless you so you can be a blessing to others. This brings glory to Him.

What's not to like?
If we truly understood our Father's love for us, we'd expect an abundant life, without fear, pursuing our Godly desires with expectations to succeed.
