What do you do when your business isn't making money? (Part 2)

Jan 28, 2021

In Part 1 of this article, we covered the ingredients of becoming a full-stack entrepreneur. This is the entrepreneurial "know-how" to building wildly successful businesses.

Learn this "know-how" and you will always have a clear path, strategy, methodology, tools and tactics to build scalable businesses.

The top 5% of serial entrepreneurs have mastered the art of becoming full-stack.

But what do you if you've not mastered this Jedi "know-how"?  It's simple. Just learn how.

Ok, how?

Here's the secret!

If you partner with God, you will be POWERED by God. This, my friend will become your unfair competitive advantage.

God will establish your steps IF you commit your plans to Him.

Proverbs 16:3 AMP - Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him],
And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].

He will teach you how to create wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 AMP - But you shall remember [with profound respect] the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers, as it is this day.

The Holy Spirit will teach you everything you need to know to become successful. He will lead you to people and opportunities to advance you.

John 14:26AMP - But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

God has always partnered with His creation, that's us. He creates the trees, we build the chairs. He creates the wheat, we make the cakes.

He created us with specific purposes, seasons, and assignments. The scriptures tell us that even before God created the universe, He had a very specific plan and purpose for each of His children. Think of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Soloman, Job, the prophets, the disciples, and the body of Christ, that's you and I.

When you are powered by God, you will be driven by God's masterplan and purpose for your life, and by your faith in His 6000 plus biblical promises.

Here are 10 Elements to being powered by God. Think of this as your success protocol, ask yourself, "I am doing these things?"

In my life, this has been my success checklist. For a deeper understanding, I wrote a book about this. You can find it here.

  1. Inheritance: Our Family Benefits - If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you have an inheritance. It's a family benefits package of 6,000-plus Biblical promises available to you. You'll need them to succeed and prosper on your entrepreneurial journey.

If Bill Gates put you in his will, you would read it. God's covenant will is the Bible. Read it to find the solution to your every problem. Look here first.

  2. Source: Hearing From God - If you are planning on partnering with God in the marketplace, you'll have to be able to hear His voice.

Am I spending daily time with God in prayer and reading His Word, to hear His voice?

  3. Permission: Changing The Way We Think - We've all developed a way of thinking, good or bad. It produces a way of doing, good or bad. This doing produces results, good or bad.

Am I continually asking God to align my thinking with His?

  4. Learning: Developing A Learning Heart - If it's your desire to become successful in achieving your work/life dreams and goals, then creating the capacity for growth is non-negotiable.

Am I asking God to teach me His ways of doing things?

  5. Battle: Conquering Your Circumstances - There is no victory, except through battle.

Am I learning to do battle, God's way?

  6. Faith: The Battle For Success - Did you know the Bible says satan has a PLOT to steal your faith? Fortunately, God has a PLAN for you to succeed by faith. The battleground takes place in your mind, it's for your thought-life, and the winner takes all.

Am I keeping my thought-life in faith, free from doubt, fear, and worry?

  7. Purpose: Identifying God's Plan For You - You feel as though you were called by God. You have dreams and goals that feel God-planted.

Am I embracing God's plan and purpose for me as an entrepreneur?

  8. Start: Taking Your First Step - When God begins to speak His vision into you, you'll have to receive it by faith, because it will be bigger than anything you could ever accomplish alone.

My first step often requires leaving my comfort zone, am I willing to step out in faith leaving my financial safe-zone?

  9. Provision: God is Our Source - One of the most important tests we'll ever face is trusting God to be our provider for everything, both spiritual and material. There will come a time on your entrepreneurial journey where without a miracle, you will be doomed.

Do I trust God completely, to provide for both my financial and spiritual needs?

  10. Prosperity: The High-Faith Believer - Throughout the Bible, we are repeatedly instructed to strive to be successful and prosper in every area of our lives.

Are you willing to live, fearing not, believing only, and trusting God to prosper us in all that we do?

When you are powered by God, you'll understand your role in God's masterplan. Your life will be driven by your faith in God and His Word, you'll be driven by His plans and purpose for your life, and the kingdom of God which is inside you.

God has never created a plan to fail. He'll take everything that the enemy uses to destroy you, to advance you. You'll be powered by His resources.

So think of it, what would you set out to accomplish, if you knew you could not fail and had unlimited resources.

The God-planted dream inside you can't fail when you are powered by God. This is what it means to be powered by God.

{4 x 10} = 30x, 60x, 100X
