This is the REAL prosperity Gospel. Anything else is a scam, including the poverty gospel preached by those who don't believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God.

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. (3 John 2 AMP)

#1 - To prosper spiritually is to have the faith capacity to receive all thing promised in the Word.

#2 - To prosper in my soul is to have the knowledge to control my mind, will and emotions. I am the boss of my thoughts because I have surrendered and yielded them to Christ.

#3 - To prosper physically in every area of my life, relationships, finances, business, health etc..

Does this mean a life without trouble? 

No, it means that when trouble comes (and it will), God will deliver me, in fact He'll use the actual trouble to advance me.

Of course if you don't believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, then you can't believe in the power of the Word. 

Instead of just standing on God's Word, you’ll find yourselves standing on the opinions of man.
