Stay focused on your calling.

Aug 03, 2022

Anytime you pursue your calling, an assignment from God, you will encounter enemy fire, from both friends and foes.

>> Enemy Fire:

This is from satan, it's designed to kill, steal and destroy. You have a delegated power and authority from Jesus, both defensive and offensive weapons at your disposal. Use them.

(See Ephesians 6, Psalm 21 and 91)

>> Friendly (spectator) Fire

When it comes to the Kingdom of God, there are players and spectators. The spectators are often controlled by the strings of the enemy, they just don't know it.

Often times, the spectators are the religious police. Ignore them.

2 Timothy 2:23 - But have nothing to do with foolish and ignorant speculations [useless disputes over unedifying, stupid controversies], since you know that they produce strife and give birth to quarrels.

Titus 3:9 - But avoid foolish and ill-informed and stupid controversies and genealogies and dissensions and quarrels about the Law, for they are unprofitable and useless.

- They are most often clouds with no rain. All hat ... no cattle.
- They will suck the energy out of your life.
- They will distract you from your calling and assignment.

Only players can score points. Spectators only make noise.

Stay focused.

Be in it, to win it — with God.

-Gerald
