So much of what I've planned — doesn't go as planned.

Dec 09, 2022

Here's why, and what I've learned.

First, we are at war with the enemy, satan.

Make no mistake, he is real.

Jesus says satan is out to kill, steal and destroy — you and me.

I have a BIG target on my back because my plans are aligned with God's plans.

- I work for God.
- I'm in the army of the Lord.

So the enemy strikes often, trying to distract me and disrupt my plans.

He's hoping I'll forget about the promise of Romans 8:28, which is ALWAYS in effect. As are Psalms 91 and Isaiah 54:17.

So when adversity disrupts my plans, if I'm being totally transparent, at first I might be taken by surprise.

When an unexpected bomb explodes, I might think or say .... OH FUDGE.

... or my very favorite "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR".

But after I've collected myself, I realize that God already saw the trouble coming and has a great solution already worked out.

Here's the takeaway — while life may not always go as I've planned, it always go as God has planned. And His plans are to prosper me.

Can you see what I see?

>> And what God does for me, He'll do for you.

It's OK if you do a momentary freakout when the bombs explode. But then learn to shake it off and stand in the protection of your Father who loves you.

God will use every setback as a setup to promote you. That's Romans 8:28!

That's what I've learned.
