Setbacks and obstacles are inevitable.

Jan 25, 2024

In life, setbacks and obstacles are inevitable. But with Christ, comebacks are certain.

As someone rooted by my faith in God and the Bible, I see the trouble as mere distractions, just scenery along the journey, so no matter what I just keep pressing forward.

When distractions come:

- My dreams, goals and desires haven't changed.
- And neither have God's plans for me.

If God has put a dream in your heart, don't get distracted. (listen up entrepreneurs)

Satan will do everything possible to throw obstacles your way. He'll even try to convince you the trials are from God.

Don't be fooled. He's a liar and deceiver. He's behind the trouble.

How do I know? Ephesians 6:11-12 says so.

- Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil

- For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Satan uses setbacks and obstacles to distract and discourage you.

- God blesses
- Satan curses

Understand the difference. The fruit will expose the root. Apple trees never produce lemons.

SO what should you do? Resist the devil with God's Word and He will flee.

Never forget God created satan with His Words. The enemy is still bound by the Creator, God's firmly in charge.

- Satan came to kill, steal and destroy.
- Jesus came to give us abundant life

If God allows the trouble, He promises to use the trouble to advance you. That's His promise.  (Romans 8:28)

God promises to deliver you from all trouble, every time. (Psalm 34:19)

Don't get into doubt, fear or worry because when you do, you invite/allow more curse into your life.

Get to a place in faith where you KNOW what God will do for you. It's a knowing.

Then you'll will walk in perfect peace and full of God's joy.

Now go speak to that mountain and command it to move. (Mark 11:23)

Push your shoulders back, walk tall, and keep pressing forward!
