Make A Choice To Redirect Your Future

Feb 16, 2022

Jeremiah 29:11 AMP - For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

You can’t change your past!

You can’t change much about today.

Do these two things, you’ll redirect your future.

When it comes to pursuing your dreams and goals, the past is the past.

Whether you have made good or bad decisions, you can’t change what’s already done.

So stop looking back.

And since there are only 24 hours in a day, and you sleep through 8 of them, you probably won’t be able to change much about today.

Every minute that passes takes you closer to it being over.

So here’s what you can do to dramatically redirect your future, starting today for tomorrow.

  1. Change your thoughts.
  2. Change what comes out of your mouth.

Make both align with your dreams and goals.

Why?

Because how you think and what you say will drive your future actions.

Your thoughts control your navigation, GPS.

Your words are your rudder.

If you are a Christ-follower, you can accelerate this by only allowing what the Bible says about you to enter into your thinking.

This will set your GPS. Your direction.

Then use your words to steer you to what God Himself has directed, established and planned for your life.

Think sin thoughts, your mouth will sin, and soon your body will sin.

Think God thoughts, speak the Word, what God says about your future, and success will chase you down.

Try it. I dare you. You have nothing to lose.

The most powerful person in the world is a spirit-filled Christ-follower thinking and speaking God’s Word.

Try this for 7 days. Guard your thoughts. Guard your words.

Only allow thoughts in your mind that align with God’s Word. Then begin declaring this Word over your life.

Make a choice. Redirect your future.
