Forget Not His Benefits

Jan 31, 2022

Psalm 103:2-5 NIV - Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The moment you became a believer, a Christ-follower, you gained access to the 6000 plus biblical promises found in scripture.

It starts with the forgiveness of sins, every sin you’ve ever committed, past, present and future, are 100% forgiven.

You are fully redeemed from the curse of sin.

If you read Deuteronomy 28:1-14, these are some amazing biblical promises available to you. A must read.

These promises are the result of putting God first in your life.

Matthew 6:33 NIV - But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Psalm 37:4 NIV - Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

And the rest of Deuteronomy 28, verses 15-68 (the curses for disobedience) no longer belong to you because you have been redeemed from the curse of the law. (Galatians 3:13)

Psalm 103:2-5 is a wonderful reminder to you of what’s available to you by faith.

- Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not ALL his benefits

- Who forgives ALL your sins

- And heals ALL your diseases

- Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion

- Who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s

Notice the word ALL. All, not some.

God’s benefits are available to you by faith. Just believe.

You are no longer under condemnation or guilt because all of your sins are forgiven.

If you get sick, God is willing to heal all of your diseases. What’s required from you. Only to ask and believe.

This includes cancer, covid and every other type of sickness and disease.

When I receive a biblical promise by faith, I don’t look to see what happened to everyone else. I’m only focused on what the Word says to me.

I look at the promise, and receive it by faith the moment I pray the prayer.

So my message for you today is to forget not all of God’s benefits. Receive them by faith. The moment you do, they're yours.
