Don’t confuse a lazy/undisciplined life with work/life balance.

Don’t confuse a lazy/undisciplined life with work/life balance.

You can work super-hard and still have balance.

Just ask the farmer. They comprehend the work principle of seed/harvest. Yet family is a priority.

If you want to succeed and prosper in this life, you’ll have to work very hard, and be very disciplined. There are no shortcuts or hacks to success. That’s laziness.

Yes, each one of us gets to define success, but most of us don't want to merely survive, we want to thrive. Living month to month is only surviving!

The farmer totally gets this. No hard work. No harvest. Your family will starve.

So does the book of Proverbs 14:23: Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty!

And if you are a faith-driven founder, your work is your calling. Work isn’t something we do to live, it’s a calling we live to do.

The Apostle Paul wrote about this. He was a disciple of Jesus Christ who was also an entrepreneur.

He didn’t live off preaching or writing, he lived off his work. He was a tentmaker. He had business partners. He had responsibilities.

He knew how to connect the dots between business, purpose, success and faith.

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 3, Paul talks about following his example.

- He says they worked day and night

- That he was an example to imitate

- That the one unwilling to work shall not eat

- And that we shouldn't even associate with them

Let's work hard and smart during the weekdays, enjoy our families on the weekend!

Dream it. Do it.
